Grilled Garlic Lemon Pepper Pork Chops with Asparagus
Grilled Garlic Lemon Pepper Pork Chops? With Asparagus? You got that right. It’s a mouthful, but you’ll savor every bite!
Ingredients
- 2 center-cut pork loin chops
- 1 bunch of asparagus
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- lemon wedges (optional)
Marinade
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tbsp. kosher salt
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp. ground pepper
- 3 cloves of garlic, diced
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. thyme
Ingredients

Directions
In a Ziploc bag, combine olive oil, kosher salt, lemon juice, ground pepper, chopped garlic, oregano, and thyme.
Add pork chops to the bag and marinate for 1 hour.
Preheat your grill to 375 – 400°F.
Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Place the pork chops on the preheated grill and cook for about 4 minutes on one side. Flip and cook for 3 more minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 145 – 160 degrees F. Remove from grill and allow a 3 minute rest.
Asparagus Instructions
Trim the tough ends of the asparagus spears.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the asparagus to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the asparagus.
Cook the asparagus for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender. Remove asparagus from the skillet, serve and enjoy!
