Bayou Hot Honey Grilled Spareribs

Ingredients

  • 1 rack pork spare ribs, trimmed​
  • 1 tbs Creole mustard ​
  • 1 tbs Creole seasoning ​
  • 5 tbs Butter ​
  • Hot honey sauce: ​
  • 2 tbs butter ​
  • 1/2 cup honey ​
  • 2 tbs hot sauce ​
  • 1/2 tsp liquid concentrate seafood boil ​

Ingredients

  • 1 rack pork spare ribs, trimmed​
  • 1 tbs Creole mustard ​
  • 1 tbs Creole seasoning ​
  • 5 tbs Butter ​
  • Hot honey sauce: ​
  • 2 tbs butter ​
  • 1/2 cup honey ​
  • 2 tbs hot sauce ​
  • 1/2 tsp liquid concentrate seafood boil ​

Directions

  1. In a saucepan, create the hot honey sauce by adding butter, honey, hot sauce, and liquid concentrate seafood boil. Bring to a boil then let simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. ​

  2. Preheat your grill to 250-300 degrees F. ​

  3. Coat the pork spareribs with mustard and season both sides with Creole Seasoning. ​

  4. Place the rib over indirect heat on the grill faced up for 2 hours​.

  5. Remove the ribs from the grill and wrap in foil with butter and a drizzle of hot honey. ​

  6. Place back on the grill over indirect heat for another hour and a half until the internal temperature reaches 145-200 degrees F. Remove ribs from the grill, place on a large cutting board and allow a 3-minute rest. ​

  7. With a sharp knife carefully cut the ribs between the bone and serve with a drizzle of hot honey sauce.​
